Private, in-home performance and longevity training — designed exclusively for discerning adults across Rancho Santa Fe and North County San Diego.
The Philosophy
The body you inhabit at 70 is largely determined by the decisions — and the training — you invest in between 40 and 65.

Credentials & Coverage
Andrew Groat is an NASM-certified personal trainer operating exclusively in private, residential settings across Rancho Santa Fe and greater North County San Diego. His practice is built on a singular principle: the body you inhabit at 70 is largely determined by the decisions — and the training — you invest in between 40 and 65.
Working with a select number of clients at a time, Andrew develops individualized programming that accounts for your medical history, lifestyle demands, and long-term health objectives. No group classes. No distractions. No compromises — and no waiting rooms.
His methodology integrates principles from strength science, functional movement, and geroscience to produce programs that are as rigorous as they are refined. Every session is conducted in your home, on your schedule, with complete discretion.
Privacy
Your home, your schedule, your terms — always.
Precision
Evidence-based programming built around your biology, not a template.
Longevity
Built to extend healthspan — decade over decade.
Partnership
A sustained relationship, not a transactional service.
The Practice
Your custom program integrates four disciplines — calibrated to your biology, history, and objectives — into one coherent practice built for decades, not seasons.
Structured strength and conditioning protocols built around the evidence: progressive resistance training is the single highest-return investment for healthspan in adults over 40. Delivered in-home, privately, on your schedule.
Restore and maintain functional range of motion, joint integrity, and postural alignment — the structural foundations of independent, capable living at any age. Built into every session as a baseline, not bolted on as recovery.
Evidence-based programming targeting lean mass retention, body composition, and metabolic efficiency — paired with practical nutritional principles built around how you actually live.
The hour of training is the smallest part of the equation. This dimension addresses everything around it — sleep, stress, recovery, and the daily habits that determine whether your training translates into long-term capability.
Investment
2 to 3 sessions per week, billed monthly
Every engagement begins with a private, no-obligation consultation. Andrew works with a limited number of clients to ensure each receives his full attention and expertise.
The Architecture
The structural commitments that hold every engagement together.
Quarterly Reassessments
Written progress summaries every 90 days, suitable for sharing with your medical providers.
Coordinated Care
Optional, authorized communication with your physicians on matters relevant to your training.
Equipment Provided
Professional-grade equipment supplied for every in-home session, matched to the day’s program.
Begin Here
A 30-minute private conversation, conducted via video. No obligation, no hard pitch — simply a conversation to determine whether a partnership makes sense.
A candid conversation about your health, history, and goals
An overview of Andrew's approach and what a program would look like for you
A preliminary, personalized recommendation — at no cost
Complete discretion — everything discussed remains strictly private

If you are booking on behalf of another individual, you represent that you have authority to bind that individual to these Terms.

Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to engage our Services.
Health clearance: Prior to your first session, you will complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q+). Based on your responses, you will elect one of the following: (a) provide written physician clearance to engage in resistance training and conditioning; (b) self-clear via the PAR-Q+ where none of your responses triggers a clearance recommendation; or (c) elect to participate without obtaining clearance against general recommendation, in which case you expressly assume the associated additional risk. You are solely responsible for obtaining appropriate medical clearance where indicated, and for promptly disclosing any material change in your health status during the engagement.
Disclosure obligation: You agree to fully and accurately disclose all relevant health information, medical history, physical limitations, and current medications prior to your first session and promptly upon any material change to your health status during the engagement. You acknowledge that failure to disclose relevant health information may result in programming that is unsafe for your specific condition, and that RSF Longevity LLC bears no liability for injury resulting from undisclosed medical conditions.
Right to refuse service: We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or terminate Services at any time if, in our professional judgment, continuing would pose a safety risk to the client, the trainer, or any third party.

By engaging our Services, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in physical training, whether caused by the ordinary negligence of RSF Longevity LLC, its owner, agents, or employees, or otherwise.
You expressly waive, release, and discharge RSF Longevity LLC, its owner, members, employees, agents, and assigns from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, and liability arising out of or in any way connected with your participation in our Services, including claims arising from personal injury, property damage, or death, to the fullest extent permitted by California law.
You acknowledge that this waiver and assumption of risk is a material inducement to RSF Longevity LLC to provide Services to you, and that the Company would not provide Services without this agreement.
All session bookings are managed through Acuity Scheduling, accessible via rsflongevity.com. By using Acuity to schedule appointments, you also agree to Acuity Scheduling's (Squarespace, Inc.) Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation email from Acuity Scheduling. Verbal or informal confirmations do not constitute a binding appointment.
Cancellation policy: You must cancel or reschedule any appointment no later than 24 hours before the scheduled session start time. Cancellations must be submitted through the Acuity Scheduling system or via written notice to andrew@rsflongevity.com.
Late cancellation and no-show fee: Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled session, and no-shows where the client fails to be present at the agreed time and location, will be charged the full session fee. This fee is non-negotiable and will be charged automatically to the payment method on file through Stripe. We enforce this policy without exception to protect our time, which is a fixed and finite resource.
Company cancellations: In the event we must cancel a session, we will provide as much advance notice as possible and will reschedule at no penalty to you. We are not liable for any costs or damages arising from a Company-initiated cancellation.
Tardiness: If a client is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the session may be forfeited at our discretion and charged at the full session rate.
All payments are processed exclusively through Stripe, Inc. By submitting payment, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service available at stripe.com/legal. RSF Longevity LLC does not store, access, or process your payment card data.
Session rates: Pricing is disclosed at the time of booking. Rates are subject to change with no less than 30 days written notice to active clients.
Payment timing: Payment is due at the time of booking or as otherwise specified in your client agreement. Services will not be delivered until payment has been received and confirmed by Stripe.
Packages: If multi-session packages are offered, the full package fee is due at the time of purchase. Packages are non-transferable to other individuals.
Failed payments: If a payment fails or is reversed, we reserve the right to suspend scheduling access until the outstanding balance is resolved. Clients with outstanding balances will not be permitted to book new sessions.
Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer for a validly rendered service, we reserve the right to provide documentation to dispute the chargeback, terminate the client relationship immediately, and pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any applicable fees through available legal remedies.
All monthly retainers and any prepaid amounts are non-refundable. Pricing is set in reliance on this policy, and a different policy would yield a different price.
Mid-month termination. If you terminate the engagement mid-month, all sessions through the end of the then-current billing month remain available; no pro-rata refund is issued for unused sessions in that month.
No-show and late cancellation. No refund or make-up session is provided for sessions forfeited under the cancellation policy in Section 5.
Medical inability (credit). If you become medically unable to participate for thirty (30) consecutive days or more, and you provide written documentation from a licensed physician confirming the inability and stating the expected duration, we will convert remaining sessions in the current month, and any subsequently billed retainer paid during the documented period of inability, into non-refundable training credits (“Medical Credits”) valid for twenty-four (24) months from issuance, usable at the then-current rate, transferable once to your spouse or domestic partner upon written request, with no cash value. We may, in our sole discretion, issue a partial cash refund in lieu of credits in cases of permanent medical inability supported by physician documentation.
Catastrophic provider absence. In the event of provider's death, permanent incapacity, or absence projected to exceed sixty (60) consecutive days, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund of any prepaid retainer attributable to undelivered sessions, calculated by dividing the most recent monthly retainer by the number of sessions in that month's package and multiplying by the number of undelivered sessions. Refund issued to the original payment method within thirty (30) days of notification.
Statutory rights. Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable right of cancellation you may have under California Civil Code §§1812.80 et seq. (Health Studio Services Contract Law) to the extent the same applies. Where any provision of this Section conflicts with a non-waivable statutory right, the statutory right governs as to that provision only, and the remainder of this Section remains in effect.
No other refunds. Except as expressly stated in this Section, no refunds of any kind are issued for any reason, including but not limited to: dissatisfaction, change in goals, change in residence, change in schedule, or loss of interest.
You agree to conduct yourself in a safe, respectful, and professional manner during all sessions. You agree not to participate in sessions while under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that impairs judgment or physical coordination. You agree to disclose any acute illness, injury, or significant change in health status prior to each session. RSF Longevity LLC reserves the right to terminate any session and the overall client relationship immediately, without refund, if client conduct endangers the safety of any party or is otherwise deemed incompatible with a professional coaching relationship.
For in-home sessions, you agree to provide safe, reasonably unobstructed access to the session space and to maintain that space in a condition free from known hazards. RSF Longevity LLC is not responsible for damage to property arising from the ordinary conduct of sessions, and you agree to hold harmless RSF Longevity LLC for any incidental property damage occurring during sessions conducted in your home. You agree to notify us in advance of any access restrictions, pets that may pose a safety risk, or other conditions that could affect session safety.
All training programs, written materials, assessments, and coaching content provided by RSF Longevity LLC are the exclusive intellectual property of RSF Longevity LLC and are provided solely for the personal use of the receiving client. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, or use any such materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent from RSF Longevity LLC.
Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that our Services will achieve any particular fitness, health, or longevity outcome for you. Individual results vary based on factors including genetics, adherence, nutrition, lifestyle, and pre-existing health conditions. Nothing in our marketing materials, website, or communications constitutes a guarantee of specific results.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable California law, RSF Longevity LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to RSF Longevity LLC in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event shall RSF Longevity LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RSF Longevity LLC, its owner, members, employees, agents, and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of our Services; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; or (d) any false or misleading information you provide to us, including undisclosed health conditions.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Before initiating any formal proceeding, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through direct written communication for at least thirty (30) days. If the dispute is not resolved through direct communication within the thirty (30) day period, the parties will submit the dispute to non-binding mediation before a single mediator in San Diego County, California, before commencing arbitration. Each party bears its own mediation costs and shares the mediator's fee equally. Participation in mediation in good faith is a condition precedent to initiating arbitration. Any dispute not resolved through mediation shall be submitted to final and binding arbitration in San Diego County, California, administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against RSF Longevity LLC.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property or imminent harm.
Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time with written notice. Upon termination by either party, all outstanding fees for completed sessions become immediately due. Our rights and obligations with respect to limitation of liability, indemnification, intellectual property, and dispute resolution survive termination of these Terms.
Neither party is in breach for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disaster, fire, flood, public health emergency, governmental order, or utility failure (“Force Majeure Event”). If a Force Majeure Event prevents performance for more than thirty (30) consecutive days, either party may terminate this engagement upon written notice; in such case, sessions paid for but not delivered as of the Force Majeure Event are converted to Medical Credits under the terms of Section 7.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this document and notify active clients by email with no less than 14 days notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of our Services after the effective date of any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms, together with any signed client intake forms and agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and RSF Longevity LLC with respect to the subject matter herein, superseding all prior communications and agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any provision shall be effective unless in writing and signed by an authorized representative of RSF Longevity LLC.
